About Rent 2

Rent 2 is the operating system for vehicle rental and rent-to-own finance. We built it for finance providers who fund a book of vehicles and put them on the road through a network of dealers — the people who carry the risk and need to see every agreement, every payment and every recovery in one place.

Too many providers run that book on spreadsheets: reconciling NetCash debit orders by hand, chasing arrears with brittle Excel macros, and dreading the day the Information Regulator comes knocking. So we built one platform that handles the whole lifecycle — from the moment a customer applies, through scoring, e-signing, debit orders and telematics, right up to early settlement or (hopefully not) repossession.

Every line of compliance — NCA, POPIA, SARS, ECTA — is built around South African law. We integrate with the tools you already use: NetCash for debit orders and card payments, CarTrack for telematics, the credit bureaux for affordability, and Firma for e-signing.

Multi-tenant by design

We don't store one provider's customers next to another's. Postgres row-level security isolates every table by tenant, every credential is encrypted at rest with per-tenant keys, and every API call is scoped to your tenant.

Built to scale with you

A Starter book runs a handful of agreements. An Enterprise book runs thousands across multiple branches and dealers. The platform doesn't change as you grow — it just lets you do more without hiring more admin staff.
